Ellen Darden specializes in the sales of residential properties: homes, condominiums and vacant land. Ellen has been a licensed Realtor for over 20 years, and she was the top producing agent in the Watson New Smyrna Beach office in 2006. As an experienced agent, including a 5 year stint as managing broker for a large, successful real estate firm in Tallahassee, Florida, Ellen prides herself on her professionalism; knowledge of the market, real estate law and financing; concern for the needs and interests of buyers and sellers; and integrity.
She is active in the New Smyna Beach Board of Realtors, currently serving as President-elect and Chairman of the Legislative and Candidate Screening Committee. She will be President of the Board in 2011. She is also active with the Florida Association of Realtors and the Southeast Volusia Chamber of Commerce. She is a member of the Mayor's Task Force on Economic Development.
Beyond working in real estate, Ellen`s professional experience includes teaching, education administration, running political campaigns, marketing and public relations, lobbying and managing not-for-profit organizations. She is married to Frank Darden, with whom she has a daughter and son. Along with helping people buy and sell homes, she loves literature, travel, theater, the beach, boating, hiking in the mountains, fine art, politics and spending time with interesting people.
